Michael Anthony of VAN HALEN joined DREAMING IN ENGLISH 

on stage at 12th & Porter in Nashville

DREAMING IN ENGLISH played SXSW in Austin, TX to an 

over-capacity crowd at The Steamboat 

Hired to fill in for KING KONGA. Ended up playing 40 shows with them

 

1997

DREAMING IN ENGLISH opens for RUSH at Starwood Amphitheater

 

1996

Joined my favorite rock band in Nashville, DREAMING IN ENGLISH

DREAMING IN ENGLISH plays the legendary CBGB’s & Bitter End 

in New York City

ROOM 101 releases self titled CD and breaks up

 

1994 -1995

Moved to Nashville, TN and joined the band ROOM 101

Toured and played every major college in the Southeast.

 

1993

Played drums on the M/S Scotia Prince cruise ship for 6 months 

based out of Portland, Maine. 

Performed everything from Jazz, Pop, Rock & Latin to Show Tunes

 

1985 -1992

Practiced, Practiced, Practiced... 

Played the legendary venue WHISKEY A GO GO when I was 

16 with my first band MR. MOONLIGHT

Played in the High School Marching, Orchestra and Jazz Bands

Learned to read music and play the rudiments in Jr. High School Band

 

1984

I got my first set of real DRUMS. A set of KIMA’s 

a knock off of Pearl Exports with PAISTE 1000 cymbals 

 

1983

I got my first set of drums, straight from the SEARS Catalog, 

after annoying my parents by banging on either pots and pans with 

wooden spoons or coffee cans full of nails with coat hangers
